PROMAP’s 2011 Convexpo

This year, the Production & Operations Management Association of the Philippines (PROMAP) is teaming up for the first time with one of the biggest industry/trade shows in the Philippines – the Asia Food Expo. AFEX provides excellent support to PROMAP’s advocacy of keeping the country’s manufacturing sector alive and thriving. The exhibition will showcase the latest trends and technological advances in the food industry sector. Select PROMAP members and partners will participate in the four day exhibit from September 7 to 10, 2011.

To further support this endeavor, the 24th PROMAP Annual Convention will coincide with AFEX. It will be held on September 8 & 9, 2011 at the Century Park Sheraton Hotel, Manila. This year’s theme is “Winning Back Philippine Manufacturing Competitiveness: An Urgent Imperative.” Knowing fully well the current issues and concerns in managing operations, PROMAP presents topics on factors affecting competitiveness and how to address the gaps, leverage the existing talent pool and the latest in best practices from among successful Philippine companies who have weathered these storms, among others.

Speakers from the manufacturing industry, government and academe will share their insights and expertise in the convention. We expect AFEX exhibitors and visitors will also be encouraged to attend the event and be members of PROMAP.
